Conformation notes by John Ferguson

An outstanding, tough racehorse who has the head of his sire but the butty physique of his mother, a G1 winner from the family of In The Wings. Much underrated, In The Wings frequently sired better-looking horses than himself, and Dubawi shares this quality - Poet's Voice, for instance, built more in the mould of Dubai Millennium. Dubawi has a sharp, active action, rather than the long, easy stride we tend to fall in love with, and many felt his youngstock were not particularly athletic. When they go into training, it's clear they inherit his tough constitution and great will to win. This is their most striking attribute: they have great minds and a real desire to please. Mares by Green Desert and Rahy have done well with Dubawi; both stood under 15.3HH,  suggesting that size is not something you need worry about when breeding to him.
